1. Today, we have no lecture by Mr. Rick, and it was super dooper hard to cope with the teacher's teaching. But, it wasn't as hard as it seems to be, because we did our homework on Section 3 of our coursework file. We took notes on the topic for next class, which is what the teacher is presenting, so it was just like Mr. Rick lecturing to us, but the book lecturing the topic to us. But I have to admit, that Mr. Rick's teaching is deeper than the textbook, even though he said that he will just lecture the things in the textbook.
He is absent because he needs something to do with his poor thumb. :( Get well soon!
This is the picture of the "Epic Chair" without Mr. Rick on it:
2. The substitute of Mr. Rick is Mr. Hadi, he is the secondary coordinator. He told us what to do for History class, and he wrote it on the board, and this is what it looks like when he did it:
Mr. Hadi told us that we need to do the LDL teaching stuff and then, we need to give them a team reflection on what we all think about Helen teaching the team.
This is what the Team assessment for looks like:
3. Mr. Rick didn't lecture us anything, so we basically got no knowledge for today, except from Helen's teaching!
This is what it looks like when Helen teaches the team:
Her teaching was excellent! We totally understood what she said, we were so shocked that she could do that. Anyways, she taught us that Farmers earn money by farming, and having farm animals like cattle, pigs and stuff like that.
In those days, pigs are so fat, and those particular pigs are called surrey pigs. One of the member of the cosmos team shot out a BHQ which is very different from the others, Mr. Rick said that we are allowed to ask any BHQs to the teacher, so she did exactly that, and when she asked that BHQ to that teacher, and she was so shocked that one of the member really asked that question to her and the whole team laughed, It was quite funny because, the BHQ: "Are Pigs (Surrey pigs) so fat in those days or are they fat the whole time?" It sounds like an insulting or silly question right? But it really isn't! Seriously! It isn't! Come on people, I mean like, we could do a research on what food they eat, how many times are they fed, when do they sleep, what is in the food they eat, do they produce excessive sweat and many more, see, from that small and silly question, it can lead to lots of epic questions, which is epic, and this is how a HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) kind of student think, they make a small topic into a bigger topic. Like, how we use a pen, when it is described can be: How long will the pen last? What is it used on? Where do we need to keep it? Where is the best place to store the pen, to keep it working properly, how does the oen work? what type of line does the pen make? Is the pen a fountain pen? And much more, you could end up for about 9999999999999 questions, jut for How a pen works. Well, you guys get the point right? A small thing could be dug deeper, until we could get the answer.
This is what a surrey pig looks like:
This is what a normal pig looks like:
4. On what we can do better next time is to listen to the teacher better, because they are making points for us. It is their own research combined into 1 whole presentation, and it is presented to us, and we should appreciate it. :)
